Frequently Asked Questions

Clear boundaries make a technical evaluation more useful.

These answers describe the current public evaluation approach. Final requirements depend on the selected site, asset and approved configuration.

01

Does acoustic monitoring replace vibration, inspection or plant control systems?

No. It is evaluated as an additional observation path. Useful interpretation depends on operating context and, where practical, correlation with established condition, inspection or process data.

02

What should a first pilot include?

A bounded pilot should name the asset, operating states, sensing locations, baseline period, available corroborating data, review owner and decision criteria. The scope is finalized through site-specific engineering.

03

Can you guarantee a fault will be detected?

No. Detection and classification depend on the signal, installation, operating context, data quality and validation design. Public material does not make universal detection or prevention claims.

04

Which data or network architecture is required?

That is established during project design. The evaluation should document acquisition, processing, retention, access, integration and cybersecurity boundaries before deployment.

05

Can the system work with existing condition-monitoring practices?

The intended evaluation approach is complementary. The practical integration path depends on the site workflow, interfaces and approved technical configuration.

06

Are the case-study outcomes transferable to our site?

Not automatically. Case studies establish prior application context, not a prediction. A Canadian site requires its own baseline, engineering review and acceptance criteria.

07

How do we begin?

Send the asset type, operating environment, maintenance question, known constraints and any available condition data. Entire Trading International can then help frame an appropriate discovery or pilot discussion.

Still evaluating?

Bring the unanswered site question into a technical discussion.

Share the asset, operating context and maintenance decision you want to improve. We will help frame a practical pilot path.
